At Masterist Scale Railroad Models, our mission goes beyond manufacturing. We work to push the boundaries of Proto standards through ultra-precise components built in accordance with NMRA-approved documentation, including S-3.1 and TN-1.1.1.
Our engineering expertise and historical research allow us to document and preserve the legacy of the iconic Latvian Rīgas Vagonbūves Rūpnīca (RVR) trains. As these vehicles are in danger of going extinct, our modeling becomes an important part of their story. It’s a unique way for us to carry on the rail heritage scale model goal that is at the heart of our work.

Our Inspiration
Modeling has roots that go back a very long time. In Exodus 25:9, the idea of making things “according to the pattern” is beautifully stated:
“If you do what I tell you, you will make it happen.”
For us, this applies not only to craftsmanship but also to honoring the legacy left by our ancestors. As Exodus 20:12 teaches:
“Honour thy father and thy mother…”
This includes protecting the heritage, engineering, and rail history built by those before us. This belief inspired the creation of the Save RVR Trains project. Even as time runs short and the remaining RVR trains approach extinction, we stand firm in faith, remembering Luke 18:27:
“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
